Savvy Style: Across the Border Shopping!

My passport expired in October and it took me a while to get it renewed (that whole getting married and changing my last name thing sure made it more difficult). Believe me, waiting was torture and I was just itching for a trip down to the good ol’ U S of A. I love heading over the border and hitting up all the great deals that Washington has to offer. I’m a bargain shopper and if you are too then heading across the line is always a great idea (believe me). Plus, with this cold weather – retail therapy is a great idea. Krista and I were up at the crack of dawn (out the door at 6:30am!) and headed on our adventure. Daylight never came and we spent the entire trip in fog – which kind of made it a perfect indoor shopping day. We both had great success! Check out our amazing purchases below (hopefully they will inspire you and your next shopping adventure!):

There were deals everywhere ranging from 20% to 90% off. If you’re willing to search through racks of deals, definitely check out Ross the next time you are in the states. The outlets at both Burlington and Seattle Premium are great for finding items that are marked down. Macy’s, Target, JC Penney, and Kohl’s are stores that are guaranteed to have some sort of deal year round. Make a day of it, have fun, and get some great bargains!

The next time you head down to the states to go shopping… make sure you invite me along. I’m always looking for a great deal!

Until next time…
